Today (Óðinsdagr) I took the Boy and headed to the local hills for blot and a hike.
A very overcast day with a light fog, unusual for this time of the year (summer) but a beautiful sight and perfect for our day.
We started of well, I found a tree hiding part way down the hill and decided that is where we'll blot.

As we started down the Boy jumped like a kangaroo a metre of the ground "snake" his first and he wasn't pleased haha, but thank the Gods he saw it as I did not, the snake moved away from us and we made our way to the tree.

I set up for blot "Discovery of the Runes" while the Boy, still on edge watched for anything that moved.
Offering was given to the landvættr and blot was held; I asked Eir for a special blessing for a young boy of our folk who is currently not doing so well in hospital.

A short sumbel was given before I packed up and we moved onto the rest of our hike.

Next is our Winter Finding Blot & Sumbel; the Hearth will come together again, back from holidays away and other commitments.

Hail Odin!
Hail the Norns!
Hail Eir!
Hail Our Folk!
