Hearth members met up at the usual location then walked the bush track to the blot site after waiting for another member, which sadly was unable to attend last minute.

It was a glorious autumn day 29c with a nice breeze.
There was a good buzz in the air, members were chatting and laughing during the walk, which continued for quite awhile, catching up on past events.
Everyone was in a great mood and brought that energy to blot.

Blot began to the beautiful sound of a magpies song; we're not quite sure if he is the same magpie that attends each blot but he stayed around until the end.

Members held blot.
The Corn Mother rite was given, and the Corn token was placed in the pond; barley, oats and corn were scatted around the pond as an offering.

Sumbel was held.
An Oath was made.

The rune box was passed around, with each member pulling runes and giving their interpretation.

Members sat back and relaxed enjoying a cold beverage, cake and a wonderful spelt & khorasan sourdough loaf with butter and honey.

The afternoon came to a close and members headed off to another location to partake in some European beer tasting well into the night.

A Fantastic day!
